San Pablo Women Center is dedicated to the vision of a better Filipino society made possible by a citizenry empowered to conquer poverty.
In 2007 she was elected City Councilor carrying with her a strong sense of good governance and has always believed in its basic principle: participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, efffective and efficient, equitable and inclusive, and follows the rule of law. And that it should also ensure that corruption is minimized, the views of the minorities are taken into account and that the voices of the most vulnerable in society are heard in decision-making. It is also responsive to the present and future needs of society. And that all these elements make a democratic institution like a local government unit.
