Party-list says Agra's decision highly suspicious

THE Anak Mindanao (Amin) Party-list urged Monday the Committee on Justice to initiate a congressional inquiry on Justice Secretary Alberto Agra over his Ampatuan decision.

Amin Representative Ariel C. Hernandez said Agra's decision, dismissing the case against suspended Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm) Governor Zaldy Ampatuan and Mamasapanu town Mayor Akmad Ampatuan, is highly suspicious and leaves a “very bad taste in the mouth, so to speak.”

Arroyo blamed over DOJ ruling

LOCAL media organizations and families of slain media workers are blaming President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for the junking of multiple murder charges against two members of the Ampatuan clan.

The Department of Justice dismissed Saturday the murder charges filed against Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm) Governor Zaldy Ampatuan and Maguindanao Vice Governor Akmad Ampatuan in connection with the Maguindanao massacre for lack of evidence.
